24 Hours of Chaos

On September 2nd and 3rd, Chaos Group together with SiNi's co-founder Nigel Hunt hosted the worlds first 24-hour global meetup, in partnership with Autodesk and many other community organisations. It featured more than 70 presenters from across the computer graphics world, including The Mill, Blur Studios, Method, Uniform, DBOX,  Porsche, Hays Davidson, CGarchitect, Digital Domain and many more.

24 Hours of Chaos was conceived as a series of 10 back-to-back live-stream sessions globe-trotting around the world starting in London, then passing-the-mic every two to four hours, taking in Sao Paolo, New York, Montreal, Los Angeles and Vancouver, Nelson, Adelaide, Bali, New Delhi before reaching Sofia, our final destination and the home of Chaos Group.

Each show features artists from a wide variety of CG industries and many countries in the corresponding time zone.

The experiment was a huge success with more than 22k people tuning in, many of whom stayed awake for the whole event. Over the 24 hours of streaming, the event received more than 500,000 online impressions.
Each show has been recorded and will be available to view online soon.

"It took us 5 months to develop and put together and I'm thrilled by the community response and feedback, especially given our global circumstances. Every one of the 100+ people involved did an incredible job on 24 Hours of Chaos and made it the best online CG community event ever! It's going to be difficult to surpass in 2021." - Nigel Hunt, executive producer 24 Hours of Chaos.

SiNi Software sponsored the raffle prize draw, with selected audience participants receiving an annual All Access license. Congratulations to all the winners!
